Enlightening is a non-profit making group dedicated to inspiring, educating, empowering, enabling and equipping disadvantaged children through arts and crafts with free lessons and kits.

We create free workshops within schools and the community and give free kits to kids to take and finish at home.

Our kits are affordable for adults, and for every kit we sell, we give one to a disadvantaged child. 

We use recycled duvet and pillow stuffing, which we collect, treat and then process into a workable material, thus saving them from landfills.  Around 14,000,000 duvets, pillows, and mattress toppers end up in landfills every year in the UK, according to Interweave textiles, a subsidiary of John Horsfall & Sons, the largest blanket supplier in the UK.
